Orbee's Multi-factor Authentication (MFA) Step-by-step Guide

This guide offers a comprehensive list of instructions to implementing Orbee's MFA functionality. It covers essential definitions and best practices, ensuring users can effectively enhance their security with this feature.

Instructions

1. Log in to the Orbee Platform.
2. Navigate to the View Profile found by clicking on the user icon and selecting View Profile from the list.
   
   
   
3. Scroll down to find the Security section and click on the box containing “Add MFA method”. 
   
   
4. Choose the desired MFA method from the modal.
   
   Note: Although not required, Orbee highly recommends setting up MFA for enhanced security by adding an essential layer of protection to your accounts.
   
   
   
   

Setting Up Authenticator Method

1. Select Authenticator in the method selection modal and click Continue. 
   
   
2. Download the Authy app via the OS-specific link, and either scan the QR code or input the alphanumeric code into the Authy app and click Continue. Apple App Store Link - Google Play Store Link.
   
   
3. Input the one-time code provided by the Authy app and click Verify & Save. 
   
   
4. Click Done.
   
   
5. You should now see the Authenticator method listed. 
   
   

Setting Up SMS Authentication Method

1. Select SMS method from modal and click Continue.
   
   
2. Input the phone number that will be used to receive the code via SMS and click Continue. A code will be sent to the phone number to be used on the next screen.
   
   
3. Enter the code sent to the number. 
   
   
4. Phone number should now be verified. Click Done to complete and exit.
