Supported Product Categories for Google Vehicle Ads
Google Vehicle Ads (VLAs) are restricted exclusively to specific vehicle types listed in Google’s predefined taxonomy. Offers for non-supported vehicles or vehicle accessories/parts cannot be promoted through vehicle feeds
Supported Vehicle Categories
Your inventory items must fall into one of the following official categories to be eligible for Google Vehicle Ads:
- Passenger Vehicles: Cars, trucks, SUVs, passenger vans, and commercial/cargo vans.
- Powersports & Utility Vehicles: All-Terrain Vehicles (ATVs) and Utility Task Vehicles (UTVs).
- Recreational & Non-Motorized Vehicles: Recreational Vehicles (RVs) and non-motorized trailers (such as travel trailers and campers).
Unsupported Vehicle Categories
Any vehicle type or transport mode not explicitly listed above is strictly prohibited from Google Vehicle Ads feeds.
Common unsupported types include:
- Motorcycles, scooters, and mopeds
- Boats, personal watercraft, and marine vessels
- Bicycles and electric bikes (e-bikes)
- Aircraft and aviation equipment
- Spare parts, accessories, and tires (must be submitted as standard Shopping ads instead)
Note: Vehicles assigned to unsupported categories will be disapproved in Google Merchant Center and will not serve in Performance Max for Vehicle Ads campaigns.
